Reverse Engineering of the Boneyard Creek (5/1)

Reverse engineering, conventionally defined as improvement through the process of disassembly, information extraction, and subsequent reconfiguration for enhanced performance, has been translated to the design of drainage systems interfacing riparian eco-systems. Through the process of reverse engineering, students from Landscape Site Design Studio have projected visions of emerging landscape infrastructures along the Boneyard Creek capable of synthesizing urban stormwater flows with riparian ecosystems.
